WEST LAFAYETTE − Purdue basketball is hosting Iowa State on Dec. 6 in a battle of top 10 teams.

In the crowd was a noticeable face to basketball fans in Indiana.

Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton is in Mackey Arena on Saturday for the the game between the top-ranked Boilermakers and No. 9 Cyclones.

After helping the Pacers reach the NBA Finals last season, Haliburton has not played since suffering a torn Achilles in Game 7 of the Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Haliburton played two seasons at Iowa State from 2018-20 before the Sacramento Kings drafted him 12th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft.
