TV personality Sam Thompson has revealed the ‘awkward’ blunder he made as he told his new girlfriend Talitha Balinska that he loved her.
The smitten couple began dating in August last year before they became official in September.

But now the star has confessed they took the next step in their relationship as he opened up on his feelings.
Former Made in Chelsea star Sam admitted he’d been in love with her for a while but didn’t want to scare her off.
He said he would tell her how much he liked her, building up the stages before he made a cringey mistake.
Speaking on his Staying Relevant podcast he told pal and co-host Pete Wicks: “It was actually classic, just f**k it. I was so awkward.

“We’re on the sofa, and I had basically known for a bit, and I was like, I just don’t want to say it because it’s too early and I don’t want to freak her out.”
Sam told the stunning brunette: “You know when I say I like you … it means something else. And then she was like what does it mean? And then I panicked.”
The 33-year-old then made a huge mistake as he said: “It means I hate you.”
This Morning star Sam tried to make the awkward blunder into a joke but it seems that spectacularly failed.
Talitha, 25, then said: “I thought you were going to say something nice.”
Sam then decided it was time to confess his love for the model as he clearly felt bad for joking that he hates her.
The pair first met last year on a photoshoot for Sam’s sunglasses brand Dinelli Eyewear.
Following his break-up from ex- Love Islander Zara McDermott, Sam and House music DJ Talitha went on a string dates as they were spotted in London together.
At first he was a little reluctant to call Talitha his girlfriend but he later confirmed they had taken the next step as he treated her to a lavish dinner.
The star said: “Yeah, I just said: ‘You know, I wouldn’t be dating someone this amount of time if I didn’t think it had legs to last. So will you be my girlfriend?’ And she said ‘yes’. And so I said, ‘great’”
Sam and his last girlfriend Zara, who appeared on Made In Chelsea together, called time on their romance in December 2024.
The couple spent last Christmas apart, confirming shortly after that they had ended their relationship after “a tough year”.
