After much anticipation,Celebrity Traitors is finally here at long last.
On Wednesday 8th October, we’ll see 19 celebrities enter the infamous Scottish Castle as they prepare to take on the ultimate game of trust and deception.
One of those contestants is Nick Mohammed, who comedy fans will recognise from Ted Lasso.
Mohammed will join the likes of Alan Carr, Paloma Faith, Cat Burns, and Charlotte Church, who are part of the Celebrity Traitors cast . They’ll have to work together to suss out who is lying amongst them and build the prize pot of up to £100,000 for charity.

Nick Mohammed is an actor, comedian, and writer known for his versatile talent. For more than ten years, he has brought the character Mr. Swallow to life on both stage and screen. He created the comedy series Intelligence for Sky One and is widely recognised for his role as Nathan Shelley in the Apple TV+ hit Ted Lasso – for which he earned a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at both the 73rd and 74th Primetime Emmy Awards. He recently joined the fifth season of Slow Horses, playing the Mayor of London Zahar Jaffrey, in a story surrounding the city’s mayoral election.
Mohammed was announced as part of the line-up for the first Celebrity Traitors earlier this year.

On why he signed up for the BBC One show, he said: “I decided to take part because I absolutely adore the show, and always have done. This is the first thing I’ve ever done as myself. I did Taskmaster, which was sort of as me, but even that, I decided to dress as Dracula because I wanted to hide behind something.”
He added to beyondthejoke: “Because I like to act, often in character, I tend not to do as much as myself to sort of preserve an element of mystery, I guess. But there was no way I was going to give up an opportunity like this! I’ve always loved games like this and to hang out with such a wonderful, fascinating bunch too – what a privilege.”

Is Nick Mohammed married?
Nick has been married to his wife Becka since 2014.
The pair first met while studying at St Aidan’s College, part of Durham University.
They were both members of the university orchestra, and their relationship began not long after they met.
While Becka tends to keep her personal life out of the spotlight, it is known that she works as a teacher.

The couple got married in 2014, with Nick sharing the news on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).
“Got married last weekend, this is my niece’s impression of the events.” he wrote.
“WHAT IS GOING ON NEAR MY WIFE’S CROTCH?”
The couple have two sons, Finn and Arthur, as well as a daughter named Annie.
