Boston’s Michelin-Recognized Restaurants, Mapped | Eater Boston

Three 1 One, an upscale Omakase joint in the South End, was the only Boston-area restaurant to win a coveted Michelin star. Six others here were recognized under the Bib Gourmand designation for providing high-quality food at a great value.
In addition, 19 additional restaurants were awarded the Michelin Recommended designation. “It means that the inspectors have found the food to be above average, but not quite at star or Bib level,” says Michael Ellis, international director of the Michelin Guide books.
Chompon “Boong” Boonnak, a local cocktail legend and the owner of Thai tapas bar Mahaniyom in Brookline, was also given the Michelin Cocktail Award.
