Seagulls complete double signing

Harry joins us with plenty of Football League experience, with close to 100 appearances for Exeter City.

He has also featured for Dorchester Town and Taunton Town in the Southern League, as well as playing for Yeovil Town in the National League last campaign.

The 25-year-old has played 11 games for John Askey’s Truro City side in the National League this season.

On Harry’s signing, Manager Scott Rogers said:

I’m delighted to get Harry on board, especially after the injury to James Dodd last weekend.

“I’ve known Harry for a long, long time and been a big admirer of his. I’ve watched him go out on loan to the likes of Taunton & Dorchester, and do really well.

“He hasn’t played as many minutes down at Truro as he would have liked, a big thank you to Truro for letting us get him in for a month. I’m sure he’s going to be a big fans’ favourite.”

May, who turns 28 today, has extensive experience at higher levels, having played for the likes of Portsmouth, Cambridge United, Forest Green Rovers, Sutton United, Aldershot Town, Swindon Town and Boreham Wood.

He featured over 50 times for FGR last campaign in all competitions as they reached the National League playoffs, and now signs for the Seagulls after departing the Gloucestershire – based outfit earlier on this week.

On completing Adam’s signature, Manager Scott Rogers said:

Adam May quote:

“It was actually the chairman that brought Adam to our attention when we saw he had left Forest Green Rovers.

“Adie Britton then made contact and was able to get the deal done quickly”

“We thought he would be going into the Football League but due to the transfer window, that might not happen until January so we moved quickly and again due to James Dodd’s injury, Adam’s going to be a big player for us over the next month.

“Adam has undoubted quality. Hopefully he’ll enjoy being with us and we’ll enjoy having him”.

Weston-super-Mare AFC are delighted to welcome both players to the club, and we wish them all the best when pulling on the Seagulls shirt.
