Jamie Cureton: Veteran striker hoping to score for new club at age of 50

Striker Jamie Cureton is aiming to make a goalscoring debut as a 50-year-old when he plays his first game for Kings Park Rangers.

The former Norwich City, Bristol Rovers, Reading and Exeter City forward joined the Suffolk-based club earlier this week.

They play in Eastern Counties League Division One North, the sixth tier of English non-league football, and will be at home to Diss Town on Saturday.

Cureton was previously manager at Cambridge City, but was sacked last month following a poor start to the season.
