Waiver Wire Winners for Fantasy Football – Week 13

Devin Neal (RB, Saints)

Alvin Kamara is set to get an MRI on the knee injury he suffered in Week 12. Rookie Devin Neal would operate as the Saints’ RB1 if Kamara were to miss time. Neal rushed seven times for 18 yards in Week 12 but, more importantly, caught five passes for 43 yards, which was 11.1 Fantasy Points. Neal could see some quality volume in the absence of Kamara, which could be huge for managers who lack running back depth.

Michael Wilson (WR, Cardinals)

Michael Wilson has stepped up big-time in the absence of Marvin Harrison Jr. across the last two weeks. Wilson caught 15/18 targets in Week 11 for 185 yards, which was 33.5 Fantasy Points. Then in Week 12, Wilson caught 10/15 targets for 118 yards, which was 21.8 Fantasy Points. These two performances should mean an elevated role in Arizona for Wilson, even when MHJ returns.

Parker Washington (WR, Jaguars)

Parker Washington caught five of his seven targets for 71 yards and a touchdown in Week 12 for 18.1 Fantasy Points. Washington has become a vital piece of the Jaguars’ offense with Travis Hunter on the IR and Brian Thomas Jr. missing time due to injury. Washington has earned seven or more targets now in four of his last five appearances and has scored 17+ Fantasy Points in three of his last four weeks.

Darnell Mooney (WR, Falcons)

Darnell Mooney caught all three targets in Week 12 for 74 yards and a touchdown, which was 16.4 Fantasy Points. Drake London is considered week-to-week with a knee injury, which could mean an emphasis on Mooney operating as the WR1, with hopefully more volume next week. Mooney had this Week 12 performance with Kirk Cousins, with whom he had plenty of chemistry last season, and should continue as the QB1 for Atlanta with Michael Penix Jr. out.

Christian Watson (WR, Packers)

Since returning to football in Week 8 following his ACL tear recovery, Christian Watson has ranged from 45-85 yards in each game played. Three of those weeks meant 21+ yards per catch finishes, showing his big-play upside we have seen historically out of Watson. Watson scored two touchdowns in Week 11 and earned a season-high seven targets in Week 12, which are positive signs. Tucker Kraft being out for the season, Jayden Reed still on the IR, and rookie Matthew Golden being banged up have boosted Watson’s role.

John Metchie III (WR, Jets)

The Jets acquired John Metchie III via trade after Week 9. Metchie caught all three targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 for 13.5 Fantasy Points. Then in Week 12, Metchie caught six of his seven targets for 65 yards and a touchdown for 18.5 Fantasy Points. These two performances show a rise in volume and production paired with touchdown upside. People forget that Metchie was a former second-round talent (2022), and his fresh start in New York could mean turning his career around.

Kyle Monangai (RB, Bears)

Kyle Monangai has rushed 12 times in each of his last two games played, and has scored a rushing touchdown across the last three straight weeks. Monangai rushed for 176 yards with 22 receiving yards as the lead back in Week 9. In Week 12, Monangai’s 12 touches were three more than D’Andre Swift’s, who may have been punished for a fumble. The rookie could be creating a committee in Chicago.

Chris Rodriguez (RB, Commanders)

Before the Week 12 BYE, Chris Rodriguez rushed 15 times for 75 yards in Week 11, playing a season-high 45% of the snaps. Rodriguez has scored a rushing touchdown in three of his last five games played and rushed for 65 yards back in Week 9. The Commanders may be rolling with a committee backfield, but Rodriguez has looked like the 1A.

Tyler Allgeier (RB, Falcons)

Tyler Allgeier rushed 12 times for 44 yards with a five-yard reception in Week 12. This was the sixth game Allgeier has finished with double-digit rushing attempts and his fourth week of 44-76 rushing yards. Allgeier has scored seven rushing touchdowns this season and has finished with double-digit Fantasy Points four times, which shows some stand-alone Fantasy potential. At minimum, Allgeier is a rock-solid handcuff behind Bijan Robinson for Fantasy Football.

Darren Waller (TE, Dolphins)

Coach Mike McDaniels indicated on Monday that Darren Waller would be designated to return from the IR on Wednesday, following Waller’s recovery from a pectoral injury. Waller played Weeks 4-6, scoring four touchdowns during those three games, which shows consistent upside in that department. Waller also produced 78 yards in Week 5, showing he has juice left. Waller can be an important piece of this Dolphins offense when he returns, especially with Tyreek Hill out for the year. ‘

Chimere Dike (WR, Titans)

Chimere Dike caught five of his seven targets for 44 yards and a touchdown for 21.4 Fantasy Points in Week 12, and also scored another touchdown on a 90-yard punt return. The rookie has been explosive as a special teams talent, but has flashed as a wide receiver as well. Dike caught four balls for 70 yards and a touchdown back in Week 7 for 16.9 Fantasy Points. Dike then caught seven balls for 93 yards in Week 8. Three weeks of 16+ Fantasy Points across Dike’s last five games is intriguing, and the hope is that he continues to earn looks at an increasingly steady rate.

Luther Burden III (WR, Bears)

Luther Burden III caught three of his five targets for 46 yards in Week 12, with a 15-yard rush as well. Burden has been targeted five times in each of the last two weeks and has produced over 45 receiving yards in two of his last three games. Burden finished with 101 yards and a touchdown on three receptions back in Week 3. The rookie is a dynamic playmaker whose role could continue to grow in Chicago.

Jayden Higgins (Texans, WR)

Rookie Jayden Higgins has earned eight, one, seven, seven, and nine targets across the last five weeks of football. During this stretch of five games, Higgins has caught four or more balls in four of them, finished with over 40 receiving yards in two of them, and scored three receiving touchdowns. Higgins’ role looks vital to the Texans, and the yardage could start ticking upward.

Andrei Iosivas (WR, Bengals)

Andrei Iosivas caught four of his seven targets in Week 12 for 61 yards and rushed for another five yards, which was 10.6 Fantasy Points. The seven targets were a boost due to Ja’Marr Chase being out due to suspension, but Iosivas also earned seven targets in Week 9 and turned that into five catches for 66 yards and a touchdown for 18 Fantasy Points. Tee Higgins sustained a concussion in Week 12, which can open up a continued role for Iosivas in Week 13.

Brian Robinson Jr. (RB, 49ers)

I am writing this before Monday Night Football, so be sure to reflect on what happens there between the 49ers and Panthers. Brian Robinson Jr. rushed eight times for 41 yards and a touchdown in Week 10, then rushed eight times again for 24 yards in Week 11. The increase in use is encouraging, but BRob is simply a high-upside handcuff to stash behind Christian McCaffrey. Especially as a former starter who has Fantasy Football impacts, in a system that has historically had plenty of running backs have Fantasy upside.

Blake Corum (RB, Rams)

Since Week 7, Blake Corum has finished with 13, 13, nine, and seven touches, which shows he has a role behind Kyren Williams. Corum has finished three weeks with over 50 rushing yards as well, showing some efficiency qualities on the touches he receives. Corum would have huge Fantasy Football value if he ever landed into the RB1 role for the Rams, making him a smart stash.

Tank Bigsby (RB, Eagles)

Tank Bigsby rushed nine times for 104 yards back in Week 8, which flashed the rushing upside we have seen back in Jacksonville. Bigsby is a solid running back handcuff to stash behind Saquon Barkley, who would have big Fantasy Football implications if he ever landed in the RB1 role.

Brenton Strange (TE, Jaguars)

After missing five full games due to injury, Brenton Strange returned in Week 12 to catch all five targets for a season-high 93 receiving yards. In the five games Strange has played a majority of the snaps in, he has scored double-digit Fantasy Points in three of them. Strange has four weeks of five or more targets, two weeks of seven targets, and four weeks of 45+ receiving yards through his five full games played. Strange should continue to be an important piece of this Jaguars offense with injuries to the receiving core.

Kayshon Boutte (WR, Patriots)

Kayshon Boutte returned from missing two full games due to a hamstring injury to catch both targets for 15 yards. Before injury, Boutte finished weeks with 103 (Week 1), 93 (Week 6), and 75 (Week 8) receiving yards. Boutte has scored five receiving touchdowns this season and has finished three weeks with over 16 Fantasy Points, which shows his FLEX potential connected to Drake Maye.

Christian Kirk (WR, Texans)

Christian Kirk caught five of his six targets in Week 12 for 54 yards and a touchdown, which was 16.4 Fantasy Points. Before Week 12, Kirk earned eight targets twice and produced 64 yards back in Week 5, through seven appearances. Kirk has a history of Fantasy Football impacts, so Week 12 could be a trend in the direction of more FLEX-worthy weeks for Fantasy Football.

Bhayshul Tuten (RB, Jaguars)

Rookie Bhayshul Tuten is a solid handcuff to stash behind Travis Etienne Jr., especially as we near the Fantasy Football playoffs. Tuten rushed 15 times for 74 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 (13.4 Fantasy Points) and produced 74 yards with a receiving touchdown back in Week 2 (15.4 Fantasy Points), which shows his upside potential.

Ollie Gordon II (RB, Dolphins)

Rookie Ollie Gordon II rushed nine times for 45 yards and a touchdown in Week 11, right before the Dolphins’ Week 12 BYE. Gordon scored a rushing touchdown back in Week 3, a receiving touchdown in Week 8, and rushed for 46 yards in Week 8 as well. Gordon has been involved behind De’Von Achane this season, but is more of a handcuff to stash for Fantasy Football.

Tez Johnson (WR, Buccaneers)

Rookie Tez Johnson caught three of his four targets for 21 yards and a touchdown in Week 12. Since Week 6, Johnson has scored five touchdowns and has finished with double-digit Fantasy Points in four of those weeks, with 15+ points twice. Johnson has played a solid role for Baker Mayfield with Mike Evans out and Chris Godwin struggling with injuries this season.

Greg Dortch (WR, Cardinals)

Michael Wilson has been the star for the Cardinals across the last two weeks with Marvin Harrison Jr. sidelined, but Greg Dortch has also provided plenty of FLEX-worth production for Fantasy. Dortch caught all six targets in Week 1 for 66 yards and a touchdown, which was 18.6 Fantasy Points. Then in Week 12, Dortch caught six of his nine targets for 53 yards and a touchdown for 16.8 Fantasy Points. If MHJ misses more time, Dortch can continue to have FLEX appeal.

Dylan Sampson (RB, Browns)

Rookie Dylan Sampson rushed seven times for 23 yards and caught two balls for 59 yards and a receiving touchdown in Week 12 for 16.2 Fantasy Points. Back in Week 1, Sampson caught eight passes for 64 yards, and in Week 2, he scored a receiving touchdown, so we know there is upside as a pass-catching running back. Sampson is a running back stash as a handcuff behind Quinshon Judkins with pass-catching upside.

Colby Parkinson (TE, Rams)

Colby Parkinson has scored a touchdown in three straight games, with 14.1 Fantasy Points in two of those weeks. Across Parkinson’s last five weeks, he has also produced 40+ receiving yards in three of them. With Tyler Higbee on the IR, Parkinson will play a larger role in this Rams offense led by Matthew Stafford, who has a ton of weekly passing upside.

Adonai Mitchell (WR, Jets)

Adonai Mitchell was part of a big trade between the Jets and the Colts. In AD’s debut game in Week 11, he caught just one ball for 10 yards but earned six targets. In Week 12, AD caught two of his seven targets for 42 yards (21 yards per catch), showing his big-play upside. Mitchell has now earned 13 targets across the last two weeks, so the lack of production should not overshadow some quality volume. Mitchell is a former second-round talent (2024) who can turn his career around in New York.

Tyler Lockett (WR, Raiders)

Tyler Lockett led the Raiders in receiving yards in Week 12 with 62, on five targets. Lockett produced 44 and then 33 yards in the two games prior. Five targets in two of his last three games is a decent number that can potentially rise due to the chemistry Lockett has with Geno Smith from back in their Seattle days together.
