Huddersfield Town v Bolton Wanderers: League One stats & head-to-head

‘No hiding’ for Boltonpublished at 19:45 BST
Huddersfield v Bolton (20:00 BST)
Bolton have not won a league game on the road since April and boss Steven Schumacher is incredibly keen to change that tonight.
“The importance of the game is because of who it’s against. It’s against a team who are just above us, a team who we expect to be at the top end of the division,” Schumacher told BBC Radio Manchester.
“It’s a real important night and we want to make sure we go there and put in a performance that looks like us and try to get a result that we feel our performance deserves, which we haven’t done away from home.
“There’s no hiding behind the fact we need to win one.”
Bolton’s away performances have not all been fruitless – they’ve taken three points across their six away games thanks to three draws.
But after a 3-0 loss to struggling Burton last time out, winning away has begun to be a mental hurdle they need to negotiate – and quickly.
