We’ve rounded up the 7plus shows worth watching this month. Prepare to take notes.

Murder! Comedy! A local gardening club brimming with secrets! This is one to watch.

The series stars a host of talented actors, including Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Aja Naomi King (How to Get Away with Murder), Ben Rappaport (Younger) and AnnaSophia Robb (Bridge to Terabithia) to name a few.

It follows four people in the local gardening club of a wealthy, Stepford-esque suburb where everything appears to be picture-perfect. Alice (Robb) is a teacher and aspiring writer, Catherine (King) is a real estate agent, Brett (Rappaport) is a divorced father of two and Birdie (Fumero) is a socialite and the newest member of the society.

But things take a murderous turn one night, and the foursome come together to bury a body in their own garden on the evening of their club’s annual gala. Linked by their secret, the group must stick together while their personal lives become increasingly complicated (and stressful). Will someone snap and reveal the truth behind what happened in this idyllic town? Time will tell.

It’s a whodunnit mystery with timeline flashes between the present and the future, where the murder is committed. With changing episodic narrators and plant puns aplenty, this cosy murder mystery has the quirks of old-school shows like Desperate Housewives.

A sure standout is King, who I’m thrilled to see back on my screen in a slightly less intense murderous series, following her epic stint on How to Get Away with Murder.
