Voters on Tuesday are considering who will be the next mayor of Pittsburgh.
Democrat Corey O’Connor, the Allegheny County controller, and Republican Tony Moreno, a retired police officer, are running to replace incumbent Ed Gainey in the heavily Democratic city.
O’Connor, who is also a former city council member, defeated Gainey in the Democratic mayoral primary in May. Moreno also ran for mayor in 2021 and lost to Gainey in the general election.
