National Night Out annual event to bring food and festivities to three WNC towns

WOODFIN, N.C. (WLOS) — National Night Out, an annual event that aims to promote police-community partnerships, will take place in three western North Carolina communities on Tuesday evening.

Woodfin:
The Woodfin Police Department invites the community to join them for food trucks, crafting booths, a bounce house and more.
There will also be the second annual first responder rib-eating contest, sponsored by Bears Smokehouse.
- Time: 4-7 p.m.
- Location: 40 N Merrimon Avenue (Behind Woodfin YMCA)
Black Mountain:
Families are invited to join the Black Mountain Police Department for food trucks, a bounce house, a dunking booth, live music, games and more.
- Time: 5-8 p.m.
- Location: Black Mountain Town Square (106 Montreat Road)
Canton:
The Canton Police Department invites the community to join them for barbecue, bounce houses, and more.
- Time: 5-8 p.m.
- Location: Sorrells Park (8 Sorrells Street)
