New Oahu reality show to premiere on Peacock

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Stars of Oahu’s newest reality TV show are celebrating the release of Oahu Shores.

The show’s six episodes dropped on the streaming app Peacock Thursday.

Billy V had the chance to sit down with seven of the show’s cast members Wednesday morning on Sunrise.

The show features Oahu natives Keolu Ramos, Raven Wood, Marcus Hee, and Alex Fowler, along with Molokai native Kamalani Pico and two Guam natives, Skye Baker and Rachael Peterson.

“Oahu Shores” follows the group of friends as they face heartbreak and test loyalties, and they say they’re ready for the world to see what it’s like living in Hawaii.

“When people watch this show, I really hope that they get to see our culture, that’s something that’s never been shown before, especially on this big of a platform,” Wood said.

Pico added, “I’m excited for people to see living off the aina, how to malama the aina, and just being family-oriented as a whole,” highlighting themes of sustainability and community.
