MILAN: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has met with Prime Minister of the friendly Italian Republic HE Giorgia Meloni, at the government palace in the city of Milan, on the occasion of His Highness’s visit to attend the opening of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
The meeting dealt with discussing bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop it in various fields. The meeting also dealt with the most prominent regional and international issues of common interest, particularly the developments in the region.
The meeting was attended by several ministers and senior officials.
