Readly, the digital magazine and newspaper app, will enlist the support of Olympic ski jumping legend Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards in a media campaign to launch a nostalgic Winter Olympic retro series with The Evening Standard and promote the forthcoming Winter Olympic content on the Readly app.
The Winter Olympic Series includes stand out retro issues from The Evening Standard covering some of the most memorable moments in Winter Olympic history such as Torvill and Dean winning gold to Bolera at the 1984 Sarajevo games, Robin Cousins winning gold at Lake Placid in 1980 in figure skating, the Jamaican bobsleigh team and Eddie the Eagle becoming an Olympic icon.
