The upcoming Broadway docking for Titaníque has added some Broadway favorites to its manifest. The Céline Dion jukebox musical parody of the epic film will sail into the St. James Theatre beginning March 26, ahead of an April 12 opening night. As previously announced, show co-creator and original star Marla Mindelle will reprise her performance as Céline Dion from the cult favorite musical’s original Off-Broadway bow.

Newly announced to be sharing the stage with her are Jim Parsons (Mother Play) as Ruth Dewitt Bukater, Deborah Cox (The Wiz) as Unsinkable Molly Brown, Frankie Grande (Rock of Ages) as Victor Garber, and Constantine Rousouli (Wicked) as Jack Dawson. Rousouli, also one of the musical’s co-creators, and Grande are both reprising their own originating performances from the musical’s Off-Broadway bow. Additional casting, by The Telsey Office’s Rachel Hoffman, is to be announced.

Ticket pre-sales begin January 8 with sign-up at TitaniqueMusical.com. General sales will begin January 12. The limited run will continue through July 12.

Featuring a book by Mindelle, Tye Blue, and Rousouli, and a soundtrack of songs made famous by Céline Dion, Titaníque sends up the epic 1997 film about the ill-fated ocean liner, with Dion herself leading a tour at the Titanic museum to explain what really happened between Jack and Rose. The musical began as a one-night-only concert in Los Angeles in 2017, coming to New York’s Green Room 42 the following year before becoming a fully staged Off-Broadway musical in 2022. Originally intended to be a limited run, the production became a surprise smash hit, transferring to the Daryl Roth Theatre for a three-year run that ended earlier this year. Since its premiere, the musical has spawned stagings in Australia, Canada, London’s West End, Chicago, and Paris.
