MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A person was shot inside Thomas S. Wootton High School in Montgomery County, Maryland, according to police.
Police confirmed the shooting happened inside the school building, but have not released any information on the identity of the victim or their condition.
Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) has placed the campus on lockdown.
Police officers were dispatched at 2:15 p.m. and are on the scene to investigate.
Officers have not said whether the shooter has been located or if they are still searching for them.
