FIRST ALERT: Second round of ice and snow for the weekend

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – Be mindful, while we start the weekend off calm, another round of snow and mixed precipitation looks to move in.
A low-pressure system from the Great Plains and another from the northwest look to mix Friday night into Saturday morning. This system looks to bring predominantly freezing rain, but some areas could still see snow showers at times, namely our northern counties.
Snow showers are also possible going into Saturday night, especially in the west. But the good news is things look to clear up by Sunday afternoon with sunnier skies. Temperatures also look to warm up in the 40s for some, potentially melting some of the precipitation.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy skies; moderate mixed precipitation with temperatures improving in the afternoon
>Highs: Mid 30s to Low 40s
Easter Sunday: Partly to mostly cloudy skies; snow showers in the morning, nicer in the afternoon
>Highs: Low to High 30s; isolated Low 40s south
Monday: Partly to mostly cloudy with scattered snow showers; cooler west
>Highs: High 20s to Low 30s west; Low to Mid 30s east
Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies; chances for mixed precipitation late
>Highs: Low to Mid 30s
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy skies; round of rain showers to move in late alongside warm air
>Highs: Low to Mid 40s east; Low to Mid 50s west
Thursday: Mostly cloudy skies; cooling air throughout the day with scattered mixed precipitation
>Highs: Low 30s
Friday: Partly cloudy skies; seasonal air
>Highs: Mid to High 30s
