Wemby Calls Out Spurs’ Turnovers in Game 2 Loss amid Castle’s Struggles After Fox, Harper Injuries

The San Antonio Spurs were without star point guard De’Aaron Fox in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, and they lost Dylan Harper halfway through Wednesday’s contest.

The two guards’ absences were felt as the Spurs struggled to take care of the ball, and Stephon Castle’s 20 turnovers through the first two games of the series have only added salt to the wound.

Star center Victor Wembanyama was blunt when asked how the Spurs fared without two key guards.

“Not well,” Wembanyama told reporters. “We’ve got to help our ball handlers more and take care of the ball.”
