Love Island spoiler: Jasmine and Kavan hit boiling point after Lorenzo ‘affair’ amid a shock recoupling

The heat in the UK is nothing compared to the boiling point Jasmine and Kavan are expected to reach in tonight’s episode of Love Island.

To recap, their relationship has been thrown into doubt over the last few episodes. Kavan wasn’t impressed when Tommy spat in Jasmine’s mouth during the Heart Rate challenge, and a few days later, things between the pair were tested again during a game of Tea, Receipts, and Truths.

In the game, the contestants were given the option to hear gossip from inside the Villa or read out a social media post from viewers at home. And, one such post suggested there’s unfinished business between Jasmine and Lorenzo, prompting Kavan to question whether they’re the right match for each other.

That situation comes to a sizzling peak in tonight’s episode, when Kavan confronts Jasmine over the new information. “This Lorenzo sitch, I’m bored of it,” he tells her. “The public is obviously seeing something I’m not seeing.”

After a bit of back and forth, Kavan admits: “I’m going to put the emotions on the back step a bit.”

“You can choose to not believe me,” Jasmine replies, “but if you take an emotional step back, then so will I and I don’t know where that leaves us.” Say this ain’t the end of Javan, please!

Meanwhile, Yasmin shares a similar concern, telling Lorenzo she thinks he should re-explore his connection with Jasmine. “When I was getting to know Aidan, I didn’t cut things off with you because I didn’t want any regrets,” she says. “My regret worked out for me; your regret is sitting over there.”

She goes on, “You’re not getting to know her, so you’re always going to have that regret.”

With the fallout from the Tea, Receipts, and Truths game still, well, fallouting, the Islanders head to bed with a lot on their minds. But the following day brings little reprieve. By nightfall, the Islanders receive a text to gather around the Fire Pit for a shock recoupling, in which the boys will pick the girl they want to couple up with.
