IShowSpeed FaceTimes with Daddy Yankee, Dances With Elvis Crespo During Puerto Rico Stream

IShowSpeed interacted with two of the biggest names in Latin music during his Puerto Rico livestream.
On Monday (May 4) towards the end of his livestream on the island, the 21-year-old streamer was joined by merengue legend Elvis Crespo, 54, and was treated to a live performance of his 1998 megahit “Suavemente.”
“Suavemente” became a worldwide phenomenon and one of the most commercially successful Spanish songs of all time and topped the Hot Latin Songs charts for six weeks in 1998, according to Billboard.
In 2025, Billboard recognized Crespo’s three decades in music with the Billboard Hall of Fame Award, honoring his lasting impact and global popularity.
Also at the scene was Latin trap artist Eladio Carrion, who had joined Speed for the majority of the IRL stream and toured with him to different spots around San Juan, La Perla, Santurce, and more.
Elsewhere in the stream, Carrion put Speed on a FaceTime call with Daddy Yankee, which prompted the streamer to sing an excerpt of “Yo Voy,” DY’s 2004 collaboration with Zion & Lennox.
The “Gasolina” hitmaker explained that he was in the middle of shooting a few music videos in Florida at the time. However, he encouraged Speed to enjoy Puerto Rican dishes like mofongo, rice and beans, chicken, and more.
IShowSpeed’s next stop on his ongoing Caribbean Tour will be in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday (May 6). The 15-stop tour, which kicked off on April 25, has already visited several spots including Trinidad & Tobago, Grenada, Barbados, St. Lucia, Dominica, Antigua, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
