OT7 Championship Weekend to Air on NBC and Peacock for First Time

NBC Sports will present live coverage of Overtime’s OT7 football league Championship Weekend from Sullivan Field at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. The finals air Saturday, June 13, at 2 p.m. ET and the championship game Sunday, June 14, at 2 p.m. ET, both on NBC and Peacock. These are the first OT7 games to air on NBC and Peacock.
OT7 is a 7v7 football league featuring high school players, currently in its fifth season. This weekend’s eight competing teams are C1N (coached by Cam Newton), Wunna Warriors (founded by Gunna), Raw Miami, Lo-Pro, Cold Hearts, SFE, Cali Power, and Trillion Boys. The field is expected to include 19 five-star recruits, 68 four-star recruits, and 48 three-star recruits.
John Fanta will call play-by-play alongside analyst Kieran Hickey-Semple. Mo Hasan and Overtime Chief Growth Officer Tom Weingarten will serve as reporters across both days.
“I’m excited to join OT7 for the championship and help tell the stories of some of the most talented young athletes in the country,” says John Fanta, NBC Sports. “OT7 has quickly become one of the most exciting platforms in football, and I’m looking forward to being part of an unforgettable championship atmosphere.”
NBC Sports and Overtime announced a programming, distribution, and sales partnership in April covering OT7 and the Navy All-American Bowl. NBC Sports also announced an All-American Girls Flag Football initiative in conjunction with Overtime and the All-American Bowl, with selected athletes to compete in a flag football competition during OT7 Championship Weekend in 2027.
OT7 alumni include three first-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft: Carnell Tate (No. 4 overall, Tennessee Titans), Makai Lemon (No. 20 overall, Philadelphia Eagles), and KC Concepcion (No. 24 overall, Cleveland Browns).
