Rayan made his FIFA World Cup debut for five-time champions Brazil in Philadelphia on Saturday (AEST).
The 19-year-old came off the bench to replace injured Brazil star Raphinha as the Selecao raced out to a 3-0 lead thanks to Matheus Cunha’s double and a Vinicius Junior goal.
Aged 19 years and 320 days, Bournemouth star Rayan became the sixth youngest player to play for Brazil at the World Cup.

Rayan, who debuted for Brazil in March this year, is also the youngest since Marco Antonio in 1970.
Having signed from Brazilian side Vasco da Gama in January, Rayan scored five goals and supplied two assists from 13 Premier League appearances in his debut campaign.

Three-time world champion Pele – regarded as one of the greatest players of all-time – tops the list for youngest World Cup debutant for Brazil. He was aged 17 years, 235 days in 1958.
Rayan’s Brazil teammate Endrick (19y, 325) is just behind on the list, in seventh spot, having made his World Cup debut in the 1-1 draw with Morocco last week.
