Manchester United have already made a busy start to the summer transfer window, despite no new signings being officially confirmed by the club. United will be expected to strengthen their squad ahead of next season, where they will return to the Champions League.
Michael Carrick will be busy getting the squad ready to challenge on all four fronts next season, which will mean some new signings being made over the next few weeks.
United have already reached an agreement to sign Atalanta star Ederson in a deal worth £35million, plus a further £3.8million in add-ons.

While the deal is yet to be confirmed, United have had some business in terms of departures already this summer.
It was earlier this month that United confirmed that Rasmus Hojlund had left the club to complete a permanent move to Napoli, having spent last season on loan with the Serie A club.
United will receive a €44million (£38m) fee for Hojlund, with the deal being completed as a result of Napoli securing qualification to the Champions League.
There have also been some players who have left the club as free agents following the expiration of their contracts at Old Trafford.
Jadon Sancho, Casemiro and Tyrell Malacia are the three notable first-team players whose exit from United this summer has already been confirmed by the club.
All three of those players, as well as Hojlund, will have been on sizable wages that will now no longer be on United’s books heading into next season, which will give the club more room to manoeuvre through their transfer business for this summer.

There is also the possibility that Marcus Rashford could leave United on a permanent deal, despite Barcelona not taking up the option to sign the England international for £26million.
United have been linked with several potential more signings, particularly in the midfield, with Ederson not expected to be the only new addition.
West Ham star Mateus Fernandes has been heavily linked with a move to United this summer, while there have been reports that Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest.

Fernandes has reportedly been handed an £80million price tag by the Hammers this summer, and it remains to be seen if the playmaker will complete a switch to Old Trafford.
There have also been reports that Fernandes’ teammate at West Ham, Crysencio Summerville, is also a target for United, and is said to be valued at around £50million this summer.
It’s unclear what incoming business United will complete before the transfer window closes later in the summer, but the departures of Hojlund, Casemiro, Sancho and Malacia will certainly help provide more funds to strengthen their squad.
