The Portland Fire will try to right the ship against the mid-table Washington Mystics today. The Fire are coming off an unpleasant two-game series in Chicago against the Sky, where they were blown out by 23 points on Wednesday and then 30 points two nights later. The game in Washington kicks off at noon PDT.
The Mystics are in 9th place in the WNBA with a record of 8-9, while the Fire are currently in 11th place at 8-11. Both teams are at close to full strength, with only the Fire’s Karlie Samuelson questionable with a finger injury.
