NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A teen motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Interstate 40 on Sunday, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
MNPD reports that 19-year-old Christian Jordan died after a crash on I-40 West near White Bridge Pike at about 11:30 p.m.
A preliminary investigation shows that a BMW motorcycle was driving west rapidly when the wreck unfolded, according to police.

Police believe the Nashville teen entered a “high-speed wobble” and abruptly hit the brakes, causing the motorcyclist to become separated from it.
“The 19-year-old received his motorcycle license on Thursday. He died at the scene,” MNPD said. “Efforts are underway to notify his family. There were no signs of impairment at the scene.”
