Multiple roads closedpublished at 09:13 GMT
Leicestershire Police say a number of roads remain closed in the city after an incident in Oxford Street on Tuesday night.
Infirmary Road, Oxford Street, Infirmary Square, Carlton Street, York Road, Lower Brown Street, The Gateway and Gosling Street are all closed.
The Infirmary Road junction with Aylestone Road and the Newarke Street junction with Oxford Street is also shut.
The force said there was no access to Infirmary Road by turning right from Welford Road.
Details of the incident have not been confirmed.
