Emmerdale fans see April Windsor and her family desperately scramble to save themselves from the evil Celia Daniels next week. Are they any closer to escaping from her dangerous threats?
April confided in her dad Marlon and stepmum Rhona this week after months of being forced to carry out drug deals for Celia and Ray Walters. Tragically, her ordeal only got worse as Celia cruelly threatened her family, while Ray ran over April’s boyfriend Dylan Penders and left him for dead.
Next week, the consequences continue – with three big proposals on the table to deal with the worrying situation.
First up, Marlon and Rhona try to carry out their secret plan to flee from the village with April before Ray and Celia can do any more damage. But their forceful tactics don’t go down well with April…

“April’s horrified when she realises that Marlon and Rhona are essentially kidnapping her,” our Emmerdale source explains. “It’s the last thing she wants – she fears any rash moves like this will only make the ordeal worse for everyone.
“It seems that April is right on this front, as Ray manages to stay one step ahead…”
Keeping a close watch over the terrified family, Ray manages to thwart their escape plan. He piles more pressure on all of them, reminding them that he holds all the cards.
Next up, April presents her alternative solution – she can continue working for Ray and hope to clear her debt. This is horrifying for Marlon and Rhona, who just want their daughter to be safe.

“April still holds out hope that she’ll be free to make a fresh start once she’s worked for Ray and Celia for long enough,” our insider adds. “She still doesn’t realise the extent of how much Ray and Celia have been manipulating her.
“As fans will remember, April’s ‘debt’ only came into play once Ray had set up a bogus drugs robbery and tricked her into believing that she was responsible. He’s also claiming that she owes him for getting rid of Callum’s body, when in reality Callum is still alive.”
Thirdly, Marlon comes up with a plan of his own – suggesting that he can pay off Ray and Celia in return for setting April free.
“Rhona’s alarmed that Marlon would consider entering into a negotiation with Ray and Celia like this,” our spy adds. “It goes against everything their family stands for, but Marlon just wants to keep his daughter safe.”
With the stakes so high, is there any hope for April’s future?
