Matthew Stafford passes Ben Roethlisberger for seventh all-time in career completions in NFL history

GLENDALE, Ariz. – Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has added another all-time passing milestone to his resume.
With his seven-yard completion to wide receiver Xavier Smith in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Cardinals, Stafford (5,441) passed Ben Roethlisberger (5,440) for the seventh-most career completions in NFL history.
Stafford entered Week 14 needing 1 completion to reach the mark. He finished the game completing 22 of 31 passes for 281 yards and three touchdowns in a 45-17 Los Angeles victory.
