The Pittsburgh Steelers received some great news Friday with RB Jaylen Warren’s injury update ahead of the Week 12 matchup vs. the Chicago Bears.
After his full participation at Friday’s practice, Warren (ankle) isn’t carrying an injury designation into Sunday’s road matchup — cleared to play against the Bears.
In Week 11’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals, Warren’s ankle was rolled up on during a tackle attempt — but he reportedly was healthy enough to re-enter the contest. The Steelers, however, erred on the side of caution and chose to ride the hot hand with RB Kenneth Gainwell, who wound up having a monster game in the win.
Facing off against a Chicago defense missing their top three linebackers, Warren could have a career performance in Week 12 — an exciting storyline fans should pay close attention to when the Steelers head to Chicago to take on the Bears this Sunday, November 23, at 1:00 p.m. EST.
