Title fights official but two heavy on scale

Check out the results from the official UFC 321 fighter weigh-ins, which feature a pair of title fights in Abu Dhabi.
ABU DHABI – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s UFC 321 fighter weigh-ins.
The early weigh-ins took place at the UFC host hotel on Yas Island and preceded the ceremonial weigh-ins for the fans, which take place at 10 a.m. ET at Etihad Arena. The same venue hosts Saturday’s event (ESPN+ pay-per-view, FX/Disney/ESPN+).
Among those weighing in were heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall (15-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC) and challenger Ciryl Gane (13-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC), who meet in the main event, and Virna Jandiroba (22-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) and Mackenzie Dern (15-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC), who fight for the vacant women’s strawweight title in the co-feature.
All the key players on the main card made weight for the event, but there were two blunders on the scale on the undercard. Jose Delgado was heavy for his featherweight contest with Nathaniel Wood, while Azat Maksum was way over for his flyweight clash vs. Mitch Raposo.
