Toronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk is a two-time All-Star and a catalyst in the team’s vaunted lineup.

The 26-year-old Kirk hit .282 in the regular season and had five home runs entering Game 7 of the World Series. A native of Mexico, Kirk made his MLB debut in 2020 and won a Silver Slugger award in 2022, posting a 4-WAR season in 139 games.

 “Proud to represent my country, Mexico, and a bunch of Mexican players in the All-Star Game,” he said this summer. “We should all be proud of that.”

Kirk is one of the shortest players in baseball at 5-foot-8.
