Jessica Simpson’s return to acting involved a major transformation. Appearing on the new Hulu series All’s Fair alongside Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, and Sarah Paulson, the Dukes of Hazzard star sports shocking facial prosthetics.
Simpson’s character seeks legal help from the show’s all-female law firm after undergoing plastic surgery that left her “botched.” As a client of Kardashian’s Allura Grant, Simpson seeks revenge on her ex-husband, the one that forced her to get work done in the first place.
Speaking to Deadline, Simpson revealed that she sat in the makeup chair for eight hours to get “very intense” prosthetics applied to her face.

“I really embody someone that I am not, so I was definitely acting,” the singer said of her latest role.
Simpson’s daughter Birdie Mae is growing up too fast. Last month, she uploaded a new photo of her 6-year-old on Instagram, and the resemblance is uncanny.
“JS 2.0 wardrobe for all dem soccer moms,” Simpson captioned the snap, which depicted her with her daughter at soccer practice. The Newlyweds alum carried a tote from her eponymous label, which featured star embellishments, studs, and grommets.

Simpson’s monochromatic look also included a black denim jacket layered over a sundress. She added on some silver necklaces and a pair of oversized aviator sunnies, too.
In September, the artist and actress opted for some exotic lingerie to pose for the cover of her single “Savage.” Wearing a $595 Dolce & Gabbana leopard print bra, she also sported a sheepskin coat, a statement cross pendant, and a jeweled emerald choker.
“I’ll chase away the giants. Unwire the way you’re wired. Let me slow you down, down, down,” Simpson wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, referencing the song’s lyrics.
