WWE Star To Bring Back Previous Nickname?

WWE
A recent trademark application hints that WWE could be bringing back a star’s previous Bloodline-related nickname.
Since its inception in 2021, The Bloodline has grown to feature multiple members of the Anoaʻi family of Samoan professional wrestlers, along with Sami Zayn and Paul Heyman, across its many iterations.
Currently known as The MFT, Solo Sikoa leads the faction, with Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, JC Mateo and Talla Tonga completing the lineup.
Sikoa was previously known as the ‘Tribal Heir’, seen as a future successor to Roman Reigns in The Bloodline.
In a new filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, WWE has submitted an application for the term ‘Tribal Heir’.
The filing appears on the USPTO website under serial number 99483684 and was submitted on November 6 under the category:
Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment
At the time of writing, it isn’t clear how WWE intends to use ‘Tribal Heir’, although WrestleTalk will keep readers updated of any developments.
