Nevada president Brian Sandoval talks about students getting to the new GSR Arena for Wolf Pack basketball games.

After suffering its first loss of the season, Nevada returns home to face UC Davis on Tuesday.

Santa Clara beat Nevada, 98–83, on Saturday. The Wolf Pack’s Corey Camper Jr. matched his career high with 21 points, adding four rebounds and an assist. Tayshawn Comer added 19 points, three assists and a rebound.

Nevada (3-1) shot 4.8 percent from the floor and 50 percent from deep, but Santa Clara (4-0) shot 62 percent along with 11 blocks and eight steals.

UC Davis (3-1) is coming off a 77–73 win over Sacramento State on Friday.

Connor Sevilla led the Aggies with 20 points, while Nico Rocak had eight rebounds and four blocks. UC Davis shot 45 percent from the field (25-for-56), 22 percent from three (6-for-27), and 78 percent at the line (21-for-27).

The Pack continues its homestand by hosting UCSB on Nov. 22. Nevada will then head to Palm Springs, California for the 2025 Acrisure Series. The Pack is set to face Washington on Nov. 27 at 1:30 p.m., and then will face either Colorado or San Francisco.

Wolf Pack leaders

Tayshawn Comer has scored in double figures in all four games to start the season and is averaging 17.8 per game, while adding 14 assists, 12 rebounds, and four steals.

Corey Camper Jr. has started all four games and is averaging 15.5 points along with 18 rebounds, five assists, one block, and three steals.

The Wolf Pack leads the Mountain West in blocks, offensive rebounds, free throws made, and free throw attempts.

Elijah Price (16 offensive; 10.3 per game) and Joel Armotrading (11 offensive; 7.0 per game) anchor Nevada’s work on the glass. Armotrading is tied for first in the conference with five blocks, while Price ranks fifth with four.

Price also leads the Mountain West at the free-throw line, going 21-for-31 this season.
