Apple Slashes Refurb iPhone 14 Again—Nearly $500 Off Its Original Price

Apple has quietly cut the price of its refurbished iPhone 14 models again, making the 2022 device one of the cheapest ways to get an iPhone right now (and without having to deal with Facebook Marketplace and dark wet alley meetups).
The 128GB version is down to $619—it was $849 a year ago and originally launched at $1,099 (back in 2022), meaning it’s now $480 cheaper than its debut price. The 256GB model has also dropped to $729, down from $969 a year earlier.
These refurbished units are unlocked Model A2881 devices with a 6.1-inch OLED display, Apple’s A15 chip, Face ID and a dual-camera system. Apple rates them for up to 20 hours of video playback and the iPhone 14 supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
The timing lands as Walmart Canada is offering a Black Friday deal on Apple’s newest budget model, the iPhone 16e, for $699 unlocked. While the older iPhone 14 remains a solid buy for kids or anyone who only cares about price, paying a bit more for the 16e could make sense long-term. Apple’s newer phone includes the A18 chip, 8GB of RAM and a 48MP main camera, plus hardware that’s expected to better support future Apple Intelligence features (like an AI-powered Siri).
For comparison, Apple Canada right now sells last year’s iPhone 16 starting at $999, and the latest iPhone 17 from $1,129.
