Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson broke his own record for longest field goal in team history with a 63-yarder to end the first half of the NFL Week 12 game against the New England Patriots at Paycor Stadium.

The previous record was 59 yards.

It was one of 14 field goals in NFL history of at least 63 yards.

McPherson attempted a 67-yard field goal at the end of the first half of the team’s NFL Week 6 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

From the Bengals via Twitter/X:

He made the attempt, but it didn’t count. The Packers called timeout, and the whistle blew to negate what would have been an NFL record.

McPherson then missed the actual 67-yard attempt, coming up short. It was McPherson’s first field-goal miss of the season.

McPherson, Cincinnati’s fifth-round pick in the 2021 NFL draft, has played in 72 games over five seasons with the Bengals.

McPherson played in 12 games during the 2024 season, missing time because of a groin injury.
