Tesco is exclusively launching a Red Bull Advent calendar in stores tomorrow, Wednesday, November 26. Available for one week only whilst stocks last, Red Bull fans can get the 24-day Advent calendar for £20 on Clubcard Prices, or £35 without a Clubcard.
Shoppers can’t purchase the calendar from anywhere else in the UK this year. Each calendar includes a variety of flavours to enjoy in the run-up to the big day, including Red Bull Winter Edition Fuji Apple and Ginger, Red Bull Zero, and Red Bull The Lilac Edition Sugar-free.
A Tesco spokesperson said buying the Advent calendar would work out cheaper than buying each can on its own. They said: “With 250ml cans of Red Bull starting at £1.65, shoppers can save at least 50% by purchasing the calendar on Clubcard Prices compared to buying cans individually.”
List of flavours included in the calendar
- Red Bull Winter Edition Fuji Apple & Ginger
- Red Bull Energy Drink
- Red Bull Sugar-free
- Red Bull Zero
- Red Bull The Lilac Edition Sugar-free
- Red Bull The Pink Edition Sugar-free
- Red Bull The Coconut Edition
- Red Bull The Blue Edition
Red Bull says its Advent calendar is available in limited quantities at selected Tesco stores in the UK. Red Bull adds: “Combining a variety of Red Bull tastes/flavours in one unique holiday package: the calendar opens to reveal an assortment of different cans of popular Red Bull Editions, as colourful as a string of lights.”
The Red Bull Winter Edition taste of Fuji includes apples and the “warm spiciness” of ginger. It contains caffeine, which the brand claims “helps improve concentration and increase alertness”. The drink also contains B-group vitamins (niacin, pantothenic acid, B6, B12), which are said to help “contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue”.

As for the Coconut Edition drink, Red Bull says it is made with taurine. “[It is] one of the most abundant amino acids in the heart and muscles,” it claims. “Taurine is involved in a range of processes, including regulation of water/electrolyte balance at the cellular level.”
Energy drinks are often packed full of caffeine and sugar. This can lead to heart issues like a faster heartbeat and higher blood pressure.
They can also affect your brain, causing problems like anxiety and trouble sleeping. If you drink too many, you could gain weight, get cavities, and even become dependent on them.
Try to limit your intake, especially if you are young, have an underlying health condition, or are sensitive to caffeine. Kids, teens, and young adults are especially at risk from the bad effects of energy drinks.
People who have heart problems, especially if they run in their family, need to be very careful because they might not cope well with high amounts of stimulants.
