Hull FC Unveil 2016 Inspired Principal Jersey For 2026

Hull FC are delighted to unveil their brand new principal jersey for the 2026 Betfred Super League season, celebrating the tenth anniversary of the club’s historic Challenge Cup Final victory in 2016 – available online now at hullfcshop.com and from both retail stores from 9am tomorrow.
The club will mark a decade since the Black & Whites’ first win at Wembley Stadium in 2016 next season, when Lee Radford’s side ended their hoodoo at the national stadium with a 12-10 victory over Warrington Wolves – undoubtedly the most iconic victory in the club’s history.
The predominantly white jersey features the unforgettable black vee worn by the side that season as Hull went on to pick up the Challenge Cup trophy for the fourth time, with a star studded squad including local heroes Danny Houghton, Jamie Shaul, Kirk Yeaman and Scott Taylor.
Shaul scored the winning try that day, while Houghton came up with the most important tackle in club history – ‘Tackle 52’, preventing Warrington’s Ben Currie from getting over the try-line to win the game in the closing stages. Both players pulled on the new jersey as part of the launch, alongside up-and-coming local stars Lewis Martin and Davy Litten.
After celebrating the 20th anniversary of our 2005 Challenge Cup victory in 2025, it’ll be another nostalgic look on home soil in 2026 as John Cartwright’s side pay tribute to that iconic victory and legendary team a decade on, with the jersey designed by merchandise and technical provider Castore.
