One lucky person could win the 8th largest Powerball jackpot in the history of the game Saturday.
The Powerball jackpot is up to $820 million annuity or $383.5 million in cash.
Two North Carolinians matched four white balls and the red Powerball Wednesday to win $50,000 each. One ticket was purchased at a Greensboro Harris Teeter, and the other came from Online Play in Huntersville.
According to the N.C. Education Lottery website, Saturday’s jackpot is the 2nd largest Powerball prize offered this year, trailing only the $1.7 billion jackpot won in Missouri and Texas in September.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are one in 292 million.
Players can buy Powerball tickets at any lottery retail location or through Online Play on the lottery’s website or the NC Lottery Official Mobile App.
