Raiders call up help at wide receiver vs Broncos

This week the Raiders already weak and thin wide receiving corps is even weaker and thinner than usual. With Alex Bachman OUT for their Week 14 matchup with the Broncos, the Raiders dipped into their practice squad, signing wide receivers Shedrick Jackson and DJ Turner.
Jackson, who is the grandnephew of Raiders legendary back Bo Jackson, will be available as depth at wide receiver, while Turner can play both receiver and return specialist. Bachman filled both roles for the Raiders this season, though he saw more snaps on special teams than on offense.
Turner has been with the Raiders off and on for four years. The Pittsburgh product has appeared in 31 games with six starts, all for Las Vegas. Last season he had a career-high 21 touches for 191 yards and two touchdowns. This is his first game active this season.
Shedrick was signed this offseason and led the team in receiving yards in the preseason. He has appeared in one game this season, seeing three snaps with no targets.
