Josh Hart Suddenly Tosses 2-Year-Old Son to Teammate Mitchell Robinson on Knicks Bench to Jump Back in Game

Josh Hart was working double duty.

The New York Knicks guard was joined by his 2-year-old son Haze Dana on the bench during the game against the Orlando Magic on Sunday, Dec. 7 during Kids Day at Madison Square Garden.

But when Hart had to enter the game quickly, he had to pass his son to a surprised teammate, Mitchell Robinson.

“Mitch is like ‘I didn’t sign up to babysit wtf’ 😂 😂💀,” Knicks Nation captioned a clip of the viral moment on X, which racked up a number of comments.

“Count that as an assist 🤣,” joked one user.

Earlier in the game, Hart had both his sons on his lap while he sat on the bench.

“On Kids Day, I guess you’re allowed to sit on the bench,” a commentator joked, while the camera cut to the toddlers with their dad, per a TikTok clip shared by the NBA.

After the game and during the team’s media availability, Hart was joined by Haze, who was seemingly transfixed by Knicks guard Jalen Brunson.

This isn’t the first time Hart and his twins have gone viral.

In September, the basketball player walked with his twins in Macy’s x Rookie Kids: “Runway on Broadway” show during New York Fashion Week opposite Ciara and Russell Wilson’s little ones.

Haze and Hendrix adorably stopped mid-walk on the runway, which then prompted Hart to jump out of his seat and onto the runway to help his boys shine on stage.

After Sunday’s win over the Magic, 106-100, the Knicks improved to 16-7 on the season. Next, they play the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
