Environment Canada is forecasting more snow for eastern Ontario and western Quebec this week.
Roughly 15 centimetres is expected to fall over the region between Tuesday evening until Thursday evening, starting in Kingston.
Ottawa-Gatineau will see most of its snowfall on Wednesday, while the snow could continue into Thursday in western Quebec. Some areas could see up to 20 centimetres.
Environment Canada has issued a “yellow” warning for most of the region, with the exceptions of the northern Outaouais and the Belleville area.
The weather service’s new warning scale rises from yellow to orange for significantly disruptive weather events, and red for dangerous conditions.
