In 2018’s “LOVEHAPPY,” Beyoncé said, “I give my daughter my custom dresses, so she gon’ be litty. Vintage pieces by the time she hit the city.” Well, the time has come. On Wednesday, Blue Ivy hit the city, specifically the Crypto.com Arena in L.A. for a Lakers game with her dad, wearing her mom’s Isabel Marant wedge sneakers.
The Bekett sneakers, which first came out in 2011 and appeared in Beyoncé’s “Love on Top” music video that year, were one of the reigning celebrity street-style staples in the mid-aughts, and they’ve seen a resurgence in the past few years as nostalgic style reaches a fever pitch (the brand also relaunched a similar silhouette, the Balskee, in 2021). Luckily for Blue, she didn’t need to comb through Poshmark, since her mom has apparently kept them in her closet, ready for the day Blue grew into her shoe size and needed something cute to go with her Balenciaga leather jacket.

Blue’s Wednesday-night ensemble also included Attico cargo jeans, a rhinestone-adorned Diesel mini-bag, and Y2K-looking rimless shades. If this is her courtside style at 13 years old, just imagine what’s in store. Do you think Beyoncé has her LV purses lying around, too?
