List: Snow emergencies across the Tri-State

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Some areas around the Tri-State are under snow emergencies due to the winter weather.
Ohio
- No snow emergencies at this time
Kentucky
- Boone County – Level 1 snow emergency (effective 10 p.m. Thursday)
- Campbell County – Level 1 snow emergency (effective 10 p.m. Thursday)
- Kenton County – Level 1 snow emergency (effective 10 p.m. Thursday)
- Taylor Mill – Snow emergency
Indiana
- Dearborn County – Yellow travel advisory
Snow Emergency Levels
Level 1
- Conditions: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and/or drifting snow, roadways may be icy.
- Advisory: Cautious driving is advised.
Level 2
- Conditions: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow and roadways may be icy.
- Advisory: Only motorists whose travel is necessary should be on the roadways. Residents are urged to contact their employer to see if they should report to work.
Level 3
- Conditions: All roadways are restricted to emergency personnel, travel for work, provisions, medical supplies or medical treatment, and private snow removal operations.
- Advisory: Essential travel only is advised. Violators are subject to prosecution. Residents are urged to contact their employers concerning work schedules.
Travel Advisory Levels
Yellow
- Lowest level of local travel advisory.
- Travel and/or activities may be restricted due to a hazardous situation.
- Use caution.
Orange
- Conditions are threatening to public safety.
- Only essential travel, such as to and from work or emergencies, is recommended.
- Emergency action plans should be made by businesses, schools, organizations, etc.
Red
- The highest level of local travel advisory.
- Travel could be restricted by emergency management.
- The community is directed to refrain from traveling, comply with emergency measures, cooperate with public officials and disaster crews, and obey and comply with lawful directions.
