Sherrone Moore’s Wife Of 10 Years Made ‘Disturbing’ Admission

Former Michigan Wolverines head coach Sherrone Moore appeared in court on Friday, facing multiple charges.

Moore, who was Michigan’s head coach for two seasons, was charged with felony home invasion, before getting released on bond. Moore was formally charged with third-degree home invasion, stalking, and breaking and entering or entering without breaking. He was allegedly at the home of the woman with whom he had been having an affair with. His “inappropriate” relationship ultimately led to his firing.

During the arraignment on Friday, the prosecutor brought up the relationship.

“Our victim broke up with the defendant on Monday morning. She presented herself to [the school] and corroborated the fact they had a relationship,” the prosecutor said.

The school acted swiftly, firing Moore on Wednesday night.

Moore’s attorney, meanwhile, spoke at the hearing as well.

“My client [Sherrone Moore] is 39 years old, zero prior criminal history, zero contact with the criminal justice system … there’s no evidence to suggest he’s a threat to public safety.”

The University of Michigan stands by its decision.

“When the findings of a university investigation into Coach Moore’s behavior were presented on Wednesday, we immediately terminated his employment,” Grasso wrote in a letter to the university,” the school’s president said.

“There is absolutely no tolerance for this conduct at the University of Michigan. None.”

Moore’s wife made a disturbing admission

Moore’s wife of 10 years made a 911 call to authorities following his firing earlier this week. She said that he was “suicidal” after “losing his job,” according to dispatch audio obtained by The Detroit News.

The audio was disturbing.

“According to our victim here, he did put a knife to his throat and ran out,” the audio said. “They’re also advising that when he left the location on their call, he walked out with several knives.”

Moore allegedly told the woman with whom he was having an affair with, “my blood is on your hands” and “you ruined my life.”
