Gwyneth Paltrow made a positively cheery statement as she left “Good Morning America” in New York City on Monday morning.

Dressed in head-to-toe pink, the style icon wore a nod to her own sartorial history instead of opting for the orange tone that has become the signature for promoting her latest film, “Marty Supreme.”

Wearing a pink silk button-down shirt and matching ankle-cropped pants from Calvin Klein’s spring 2026 collection, the blond actress slipped into a pair of pale pink sculptural pumps to continue the full-length color story.

Though co-star Timothée Chalamet has chosen to dress in orange during the press tour (including wearing matching custom Chrome Hearts outfits with girlfriend Kylie Jenner), in honor of his character’s bright orange ping pong balls, Paltrow opted for a shade that’s decidedly more in her wheelhouse.

In fact, one of Paltrow’s most iconic looks was made of pink silk.

The then 26-year-old star wore a pale pink silk Ralph Lauren gown to accept her Oscar win in 1999 for “Shakespeare In Love.”

And, while she shared with Vogue that she nearly chose another outfit for the occasion, it still would have been a fully bubblegum pink Ralph Lauren creation.

In fact, the dress even made a cameo in a 2023 Goop ad, with Paltrow reviving some of her most well-known looks (and characters) to date.

Model Karen Elson also wore that very dress on the cover of InStyle in 2019.

Since then, Paltrow has worn a variety of bold pink looks, including a bright pink Valentino gown at the 2013 Met Gala and a one-shoulder Ralph & Russo baby pink look a decade ago at the 2015 Academy Awards.

In 2020, Paltrow shared that she’s saved every red carpet look for her daughter, Apple Martin, so we know they’re going to continue to be well-loved.

Clearly, when she wants to turn heads, Paltrow feels more comfortable in feminine pink hues than outrageous orange — Kylie can have dibs on that, for now.
