Drivers faced severe delays after a six-vehicle crash on the A14.
The vehicles were involved in a collision on the westbound carriageway, near Newmarket, at junction 37 for the A142 – at about 07:15 GMT on Tuesday.
Two of the three lanes were closed, with delays in excess of 45 minutes and six miles of congestion, National Highways said.
Suffolk Police said there were no injuries and recovery of the vehicles was under way.
