Brittany Cartwright Reveals the Latest News on Her Divorce With Jax Taylor: “Fingers Crossed…”
Brittany Cartwright’s divorce from Jax Taylor is “still not final.” The Valley cast member admitted at BravoCon 2025 that she would like to be divorced before the end of the year, but things have not gone according to plan for the mom to son, Cruz.
During a Dec. 12 episode of her podcast, When Reality Hits, Brittany admitted that her divorce has not yet been finalized. “Still not final,” she revealed. “Hopefully final within the month.”
“I mean, this has just been a process,” she continued. “Oh my gosh, a lot of things I obviously can’t talk about yet, but just, I’m hoping, fingers crossed, that it will happen soon.”

No, she is not. Brittany revealed on the podcast that she is currently single amid her divorce. “Your girl is still single,” she said. “So let me know if you know anybody hot I should date.”

But, Brittany doesn’t seem to mind her current relationship status. “I am single, so introduce me,” Brittany said during the Peaks and The Valley panel at BravoCon 2025 on Friday, Nov. 14. “I love being single.”
However, she is “excited” to find love again. “[I want] somebody who’s a family man, somebody who eventually would love Cruz,” she admitted.

The mom of one also revealed during the panel that her divorce was supposed to be finalized in October. However, delays have continued to push the finalization date back.

“I am praying December,” she said of her divorce. “Things are happening with Jax. It was supposed to be October 15, and I was hoping for that, and it’s been pushed back. So December is — fingers crossed.”

Brittany also dished on her fling with Brandon Hanson during the BravoCon panel. Brittany and Brandon had been seeing each other earlier this year, but had not made things official between them before they stopped dating. However, Brittany admitted that she wished she had not gone so public with the relationship so quickly.
“Lord! It was, like, a short-lived thing,” she said of their romance. “It got more popular on the internet much quicker than it should have. So, I would not have went public with that.”

Brittany clarified that Brandon, who is also a parent, was “separated” from his wife while they were dating. “I’m not a home wrecker,” she added.
