Rams activate one player from practice squad for Thursday vs. Seahawks

Nick Hampton has been elevated for tonight’s game in Seattle

The Los Angeles Rams announced they have activated edge rusher Nick Hampton from the practice squad for tonight’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. This is a temporary elevation for Hampton, who will revert back to the practice squad on Friday after the game.

Teams are permitted to promote two players per week from the practice squad but the Rams have opted to use just one of those elevations for Week 16.

Hampton was a fifth-round pick by the Rams in 2023 and has played 12 games this season. He has yet to record a sack, primarily playing special teams and just 112 snaps on defense.

He was waived by the team on Dec. 9 but re-signed to the practice squad one day later.
