LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – There are thousands of FirstEnergy customers without power in Lorain County Thursday afternoon, according to FirstEnergy’s website.

The outage is mostly affected Avon, Elyria, North Ridgeville, Sheffield, Sheffield Lake, and Sheffield Township.
The outage was on a transmission line in the Elyria area. Crews were able to isolate it and restore a majority of customers, according to FirstEnergy.
All power was restored around 6:30 p.m.
